Quaking Grass (Briza) is an excellent choice for fresh or dried arrangements. Reaches 1’-2’ with heart shaped florets that emerge bright green in April. At maturity, they turn a beautiful golden color. An easy, dependable perennial grass that can be used as a specimen plant or an unusual foreground plant. Thrives in rich, fertile soil with full sun. Hardy zones 4-10.

Autumn Moor Grass (Sesleria autumnalis) is an evergreen ornamental grass with attractive, bright yellow-green foliage. Small purplish-black flower spikes emerge and are lightly frosted with white stamens. This beauty makes an excellent groundcover when planted en masse. Can be grown in sun or part shade, zones 4-9, and reaches 20” in height.

Zebra Grass (Miscanthus sinensis Zebrinus) provides year round interest, including the autumn and winter landscape. Also great for the water garden. Pinkish-copper flower plumes in early autumn. Prefers fertile, well-drained locations in full sun. Water generously for best display. Cut back in the early spring as new growth appears. 6’-8’ tall. Space 3’-4’ apart.
